I'm an atheist but

I'm an atheist but
today I sat alone
and while I was thinking
to myself some unwritable
vulgar ideas I felt
it would be nice
to have someone
looking over my shoulder
noticing my loneliness
and giving this moment
some kind of significance.

So now I feel the urge
to write a poem about some
transcendental character
like God
one that anyone can apreciate
without me having to explain myself
thus going back to feeling all alone.

I try to write something clever
but somehow I don't quite seem
to know what would be appropriate.

Oh well... if God is there may He
pick my hand and say something
just to shed some light
on what are His thoughts
at the moment
